Vintage 60s Ramirez Taurus Classical Guitar Concepcion Jeronima no. 2 M.I.Madrid

Welcome! This is a MUST HAVE Ramirez Taurus classical guitar. Made in Madrid in what I estimate to be around late 60s (research suggests 1968), but no later than 1971, as the shop moved to another location. The instrument is made of red cedar wood with beautiful bronze detailed tuners. Made in the original Concepcion Jernonima no. 2 shop before the company moved to no. 5 and right as the model was refined. It's design features are made to carry sound to larger crowds with choice materials and an in-house developed varnish that improved sound quality.
Has a crack on the front (pictured) as well as other minor blemishes. This guitar was well ribbed on the inside and cracks do not affect structural integrity- play tone still has a nice, deep resonance. Doesn't seem to be the result of impact damage- just an old cedar guitar that has probably seen some life in different temperatures and humidities. I filed and installed a new saddle as well as a new set of D'addario nylon strings- stored loosened. No buzzing from the frets as you move up the fretboard with good action that can be adjusted to your preference.
