    Description

    I only have one (1) pound of Dark Turquoise #6374 Mason Stain. If you buy 1/2 pound from a ceramic supply store you're likely to pay around . The manufacturer's swatch is a little darker than how it fires. This is a blue turquoise, and has almost no green tint to it, much more like the gem stone. We used this with Glossy Base #2 from Mastering Cone Six Glazes and a special technique to increase the depth of color and to tint the color since the GB2 glaze is transparent. I cannot send you the recipe as it is copyrighted and available in the book. But, I will send you our process for creating more depth of color / character with mason stain based glazes. This will be provided at time of shipping only and only to paying customers.
