The oval notch can be used to punch holes with a stepping punch so that the punch does not "slide" to the side.
There is a line between the holes that can be used to ensure that the holes are exactly 3 mm from the edge.
At the end of the piece, there was a ruler with a certain step to check the correctness of the marking.
The mold is made of 2 mm thick acrylic and has a protective film on both sides.
The pattern must be handled with care as acrylic is a fragile material.
