These ear plugs are designed to soften and dull sounds, not totally alleviate sound. (Your horse can still hear you - you just need to spaek up:))
I have found these to be the safest because those that totally alleviate noise affect a horse's balance and can also be dangerous if you do need your horse to hear you.
I have used them for showing, shoeing, clipping, trailering, mounted shooting, parades.
