Brannaman - Making of a Bridle Horse 3 DVDs
In wonderful condition without any scratches at all. Plays superb.
DVD 1 you will learn the ways of the snaffle and the "soft feel" while applying them to the walk, trot and lope. Buck will even help you with your roping. This tape is a must for any riding discipline.
DVD 2 Buck moves on in advancing the horse from wearing a snaffle to working in a hackamore. Buck explains the hackamore, going into great detail of how to shape and use it to the best of your horse's comfort. He moves forward into an instructional segment where he reviews the basic maneuvers in the first video, only this time riding them in a hackamore.
This video is an exceptional overview in preparing the horse for the ultimate task at hand becoming a bridle horse.
DVD 3 explains the equipment, bridling and handling of the bridle in this final stage of Buck Brannaman’s series. The video goes into detail about how to ride a bridled horse using the same fundamental tactics in the first videdo to help the horse in it’s transition. Once you have become familiar with the exercises, Buck uses them when discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the bridle when roping and working the horse with stock.
Brannaman is popular with horse lovers of all ages. His students come form all walks of life and performance disciplines - from Olympic riders to teenagers with backyard ponies, and they range in age from 8 to 80. One clinic participant in ten is a child and, usually, seven in ten are there for a second, third or fourth time around. An instructor of children who's been to more than 35 clinics in the past 6 years said, "Whether Buck's riding or working with a horse on the ground, there's always new information. I never miss the chance to see him work because he always leaves me with something valuable to pass along. My kids just eat this stuff up, because it works."
