Standard box, 34 one-piece keys. 16 lbs, 19" x 11" x 12". Red lacquered SEL grade bhutan pine/kail wood construction (interior and exterior). Equal tuning. Standard, Punjabi reeds, 2 sets (Bass, Male), horizontal orientation. 2 stops (Bass, Male). 2 drones (C#, G#). No coupler. No scale changer. Removable lid with lock.
Bhava Basic harmoniums are considered well-made instruments that produce a beautiful sound and smooth play experience, with excellent sustain and easy key action. I have found this to be the case with this particular instrument. It was originally purchased from Old Delhi Music in Urbana, IL, where it was tuned by their experts. It has been stored in a climate-controlled environment and has not been heavily used. Prior to its original sale, Old Delhi designated it B-stock due to the impressions in the clear coat, particularly on the removable top lid. These impressions do not affect the structure, function, or sound of the instrument. There is one nick in the finish on the side of the box from use (shown). The keys, reeds, and bellows are in good condition.
